The Advantage and Disadvantage of Some Types of Fabrics

Different fabrics have different features. If we know some of these, it will be beneficial for us to make an ideal purchase.

1 Cotton cloth

It is the generic term for all kinds of cotton textiles. It is often used to make fashion, casual clothing, underwear and shirts. It is light, warm, soft and snug. Its hygroscopicity and breathability are excellent, yet it is apt to shrink and wrinkle, so it looks not so stiff and smooth. You need to iron it often if you wear the clothing made of this fabric.

2 Linen

It refers to the fabric made from some bast fibers such as cannabis, flax, ramie and jute. It is generally used to make casual clothing and work clothing. Currently it is also used to make summer clothing. It possesses good strength and has good hygroscopicity, heat conduction and breath ability. However, it is uncomfortable to wear and it looks coarse and hard.

3 Silk

It is the generic term for all the silk textiles that woven from the material of silk yarns. The same with cotton clothing, it has various types and each of them has its own particular features. It is often used to make variety of clothes, especially the lady’s dress. It looks bright and lustrous. It is light, smooth and ventilate. Once you wear the clothing made of this fabric, you will look elegant and you will feel very comfortable. However, although possessing so many advantages, it still has many disadvantages, for example, it is easy to wrinkle and fade color and it is not so durable.

4 The wool fabric

It refers to the textile made of different kinds of wool and cashmere. Generally speaking, it is often used to make formal and high quality clothes such as the full dress, the business suit and the overcoat. It is wrinkle free, wearable, soft and stiff. It is also flexible and can keep warm well. However, it is hard to be washed and not suitable to make summer clothing.

5 Leather

It is the tannage made from animal skin and it is mostly used to make winter clothing. It can be classified into two types. One type is leather and the other is designing fur. Designing fur is light and good at keeping warm. Moreover, it looks noble and dignity. However, it is so expensive and hard to be stored that it needs your special care.

6 The chemical fiber

It is the fiber made from polymeric compound. It has two types, namely artificial fiber and synthetic fiber. Both are colorful, soft, drooping, stiff and sleek, but their heat resistance, hygroscopicity and breathability are not so good. It will be out of shape if contacting with heat and it is easy to produce static electricity. It can be used to make different kinds of clothes, yet the clothes made of this fabric are not high-grade.

Pros and Cons of the Japanese Knotweed

There are many names which the Japanese knotweed can be known as; Reynoutria japonica, Fallopia japonica and Polygonum cuspidatum are the scientific names for the Japanese knotweed. Reynoutria japonica is the oldest name given in 1777 by Houttuyn, a renowned Dutch botanist.

This name became lost over 10 decades with the weed named as Polygonum cuspidatum by Siebold and Zuchharini in 1845. Today, its main scientific name is Fallopia japonica.

International renown

The Japanese knotweed is internationally known in local names such as American bamboo, Mexican bamboo, fleece flower, donkey or sally rhubarb, pea shooters, monkey weed, elephant ears, Hancock’s curse, crimson beauty, Huzhang and wild rhubarb.

This weed species belong to the Polygonaceae knotweed family which include the rhubarb, sorrel and buckwheat. This large herbaceous weed species is native to China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. It was first introduced to the USA and Europe in the 19th century.

Uses

The Japanese knotweed is quite versatile in its uses. It was originally intended to feed field animals, prevent soil erosion and be a decorative plant with its small white and creamy flowers. Its root extract was highly sought after for Chinese medicine.

Its young shoots can be eaten as vegetables and its stalk rind can be used in jams, soups and sauces. It can be made into a dessert dish with some creative culinary skills and condiments.

Downside

However, this weed plant is considered as one of the most invasive weed species on every continent; hence, efforts are made to stem it out through various eradication treatments. UK ha a law against the spread of this weed species in its 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act.

Australia and New Zealand have also encountered much difficulty in controlling the wide spread growth of this weed. It can damage almost any surface be it wall or ground. Foundations of buildings can be cracked and become unstable with the presence of the Japanese knotweed.

A small shoot of this weed can push its way out of any tiny crack to cause massive damages. Hence, pavements, drains, roads, buildings, flood defenses, historical buildings, archaeological sites and even cemetery can be damaged by the Japanese knotweed.

The rapid growth of this weed plant can overtake river banks to prevent access to the rivers. Native plants are crowded out by the Japanese knotweed and soon go into extinction. Land value plummets with the presence of the knotweed. Eradication of this weed plant is difficult, costly and not guaranteed.

Are People Who Take Drugs Accessing the Astral Plane?

It depends on the drugs, but if altered perception is involved then to a certain degree the answer is yes. However, for several reasons it is detrimental and definitely not recommended. Firstly, drugs artificially stimulate and force open receptive centres in a way which can be damaging to the unprepared subtler bodies. The natural conscious opening of these centres through simple techniques is by far a much more interesting and rewarding experience.

I believe the ‘instant gratification’ that drugs can seem to provide is just a learned mental greed, a blown-out-of-all-proportion ‘I want!’, especially when just a little patience and practice can produce lasting and repeatable results. Many drugs have physical side effects, but all of them temporarily imbalance the energy centres (chakras) to one degree or another. Often it is more the sensation of this imbalance and the resulting experiences which people are addicted to than any addictive qualities to the drugs themselves (marijuana is an example of this.)

Common street drugs not only do not help you achieve Astral Projection, but will most likely create energetic conditions inside your body that can actually prevent you from projecting naturally. At least until the imbalance truly subsides. And unfortunately for fans of the wacky tobacky, marijuana is known to suppress dreaming memory and alter REM cycles, which certainly doesn’t help Lucid Dreaming and in many cases prevents it (though the individual effect varies.)

Other bliss-inducing drugs (such as ecstasy, heroine, cocaine etc.) may temporarily open one to the feeling of more blissful astral levels. But whatever the short term effect, it is an undesirable means due to their temporary and pendulum-swing nature alone, and the physical and psychic repercussions confirm this. With natural techniques, one acquires access to the knowledge of how to anchor blissful experiences into everyday life. Isn’t this seemingly elusive state what people call ‘happiness’? It is far easier to create than is generally thought of!

Hallucinogenic drugs (such as magic mushrooms, LSD, party acid cocktails, peyote, etc.) mostly cause a ‘bleedthrough’ of astral perceptions into physical perceptions. This can be confusing or disorienting, especially without experience focussing one’s consciousness, and there’s always the risk of a ‘bad trip’; very unlike the vibrant and evolutionary Astral we are seeking to access. The temporary trip may be a curiosity for some, enlightening for others, but is truly incomparable to the available natural methods.

The more intense variety of hallucinogens such as DMT or salvia divinorum or others are a topic in themselves, purportedly resulting in dimensional journeys similar to projection. I have no wish to explore the topic here, there is plenty of information elsewhere. However, I would really like to caution against these to anyone who is inexperienced with hallucinogens, as the immediacy and intensity of these drugs is very difficult to control. Certainly they are not to be used for escaping a negative state like most ecstatic drugs – instead they will amplify the experience of your current state manifold.

Experienced projectors have done their own investigations by observing those using drugs to access the Astral and unanimously report the inferior aspects of such methods, including various damage to physical and astral bodies. The only thing observed to temporarily counteract this damage to any extent is the spiritual intent of the person, as for example observed in various shamans.

In conclusion, there is simply no need for drugs when greater, more stable, more beneficial, and more interesting and ecstatic experiences can be had through natural means. On a sociological level, the prevalence of drugs in any society is more an indicator of the devaluation of the meaning of life, and a lack of real spiritual education in the means for achieving psychic growth and these same ecstatic states naturally.

When it comes to the aims of Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming, we want to learn how to create and experience what we desire. We need to become more consciously focussed. And focus is usually the first thing we lose when we use any kind of mind-altering substance. It is usually an ‘unconscious’ rather than a ‘conscious’ journey in many respects – at the very least we don’t know exactly where we are nor exactly how we got there. It’s strange and unfortunate to think some people struggle hard to maintain a drug habit when it’s much easier (and cheaper) to learn natural methods… if only they were far more prevalent and well-known (and used.)

Homemade Carp Boilies Catch More Fish Especially When You Exploit Potent Bioactive Sweeteners!

You know so many carp anglers try to achieve above average catches using readymade baits and fail. This is a great shame and yet is a massive problem, and I know the bait industry lets down anglers all over the place. All the hype cannot hide the fact that average anglers using readymade baits only ever achieve ordinary catches the vast majority of the time! It might seem strange but all the guys who I know who make their own homemade baits are the top rods on the waters they fish. One big reason is that they alone are exploiting their totally unique bait recipes with absolutely zero competition from any other anglers using exactly the same bait! This is an incredibly powerful advantage! Revealed here are some powerful bait recipe and sweetener secrets!

Certain carp receptors are particularly sensitive to sweet substances. Carp feel the glucose hit of broken aquatic plants for example, but they get few instant energy hits from many of their natural food items even though they catabolise a proportion of their most abundant protein-rich foods for energy. I’ve used glucose syrup for years; what makes more sense than exploiting the energy fuel that carbohydrates foods are broken down into internally?

Nutritionally food and bait is basically about vital energy. And without this for cellular respiration organisms die! Even at the microscopic single-cell bacterial level their survival and multiplication can be stopped completely when an aspect of energy supply or mechanism for energy release is halted; so sweeteners are addictive to fish and humans. I view both as incredibly organised networks of single-cells which are intrinsically self-intelligent organisms.

It makes sense that the roof of the mouths of carp are packed with concentrations of palatial receptors especially helping carp detect and instinctively decide to merely sample objects and solutions or to repeatedly consume them – or avoid them! Feedback to brain receptors signal the carps’ motor impulses to muscles etc to keep on feeding (or not.) It’s based on the vital need biological and energy value at that moment, or physiological impacts etc a substance detected has on an individual fish. Genetically individual fish and different strains are more sensitive to certain sweeteners; therefore exploit multiple sweeteners not merely Talin! (Avoid aspartame and Splenda – they’re toxic!)

Baits containing a mixture of sweeteners will likely be tested more than just once by an individual fish or by more than one fish on multiple occasions; leading to more fish hooked! Talin is a trade name for thaumatin B a protein sweetener from the African Katemfe Fruit (yes fruits contains proteins!) Talin improves bait palatability making them consumed more repetitively increasing your chances of more hook-ups. Interestingly it masks off and bitter flavours; many popular fishing flavours are bitter!

Talin appears to replicate a type of signaling nerves naturally do so I think this is one reason it is so potent. I’d term certain forms of betaine as sweeteners, not just true feeding triggers.

Glycerine (glycerol) is well proven beyond just as a flavour base. It’s a low glycaemic calorie source containing more calories than sugar with unlimited capacity to mix with water; absolutely ideal for dispersing bait substances in solution! Natural vanilla terpenes and synthetic sweet flavours are also sweeteners… I would term sweet and sweetened oils as addictive substances too including sweetened bulk oils, and also evaporated and condensed milks. Geranium and aniseed oils are sweetly proven as is deliberately sweetened garlic oil. Cinnamon oil is much over-looked for sweet baits!

Natural sugar sweeteners such as honey cause a blood sugar spike and instant energy hit in the body! This blood sugar spike creates a uric acid rise and glutamic acid dump in the blood stream which relaxes muscle tension in the body. This is an addictive effect of many drugs e.g. opiates, cocaine etc; it’s the addictive ‘relaxing rush’ effect of nicotine and the effect of beers processed in the body. Beer hops are the same family as Cannabacea (hemp and cannabis.) The bioactive components have similar effects after breakdown in the body (marijuana can be grafted to hops!)

Concentrated carrot and beetroot juices are naturally bioactive sweeteners. Lactose (milk sugar,) whey proteins, caseins, 5 Pints milk powder, Vitamealo etc have further internal effects on humans and carp quite apart from merely sweetness or taste and smell. Note that many substances such as milk are highly stimulatory in solution and when consumed, even if they cannot be fully digested naturally within the body! Many internal effects of sweeteners have zero to do with sweetness such as the immunity-building compounds in honey and its other various antioxidant protective substances science has yet to identify! See how many sweeteners are actually addictive or temporarily habit-forming even when used in low levels?

Bait secrets are not all about what is currently being used, but how substances work, how they are applied, what they are used with, how they impact internally on vital carp roles and processes, how they react with water, and how they enhance other bait substances in many ways when in solution and in contact with fish receptors etc.

Very many sweetening agents increase the action of water penetration into baits so promoting far more beneficial out-put of concentrated bait substances in solution; which carp most easily detect! This is a vital point especially when considering substances to include for cold water baits! The autumn is a great time get making new homemade baits and get away from under-performing readymade baits that have already got fish wary when in proximity to them; by definition this is any readymade bait that has hooked fish previously! Remember that the baits that anglers use directly programme and condition fish behaviours so that fish become very wary of baits that have hooked them.

By massive contrast when fish experience a bait that has never hooked them previously what do think the fish response is? Fish feed far more confidently on a totally new food source and in actual opposition to the HNV theory about baits I have had more big fish by fishing a totally new homemade bait on a water each session than by establishing the highest quality HNV baits. That has been my experience from 35 years of carp fishing. In the early year few anglers few HNV baits and so these made a huge difference but guess what, these days everyone and their dog are fishing HNV baits so their edge is vastly deteriorated see! In fact so many anglers struggle or achieve average results popular readymade HNV baits it is laughable!

My eBook readers out-fish readymade baits such as Mainline Cell boilies and others all over waters of the UK and abroad. The activity of enzymes in such baits is certainly not the ultimate answer for getting the most bites as these can actually limit fish reactions to the bait. Many readymade baits are claimed to be the ultimate bait yet the very next month or year another bait from that company is released and hyped up to replace the previous old ultimate bait.

See the truth that there is no ultimate bait because fish will always respond with fear of these ultimate baits through being hooked with readymade baits that the herd mindlessly use to attempt to get above average results! Trying to get above average results using readymade baits the average angler in the herd uses is just insane; you simply lose all competitive advantages completely!

Start thinking logically and sanely; start out with a completely new and totally unique homemade bait that you have made and your fish will have no reason at all to be wary of them. You keep all competitive advantages and all the secrets about your recipe bait modes of action, the ingredients, flavours used and much more; Think about it! The Bladder – Nocturia and Paruresis (Shy Bladder)

NOCTURIA

STEP 1. COLLECT INFORMATION

  • Waking to urinate more than twice a night – nocturia – is considered a medical problem unless you are menopausal, or over 80, when it is normal, if not restful.
  • As we age, there is a natural shift in the timing of urination. Instead of being most active during the day, the urinary system gets into gear at night, alas. To prevent falls, keep bathroom access well lit and forego rugs or slippers that slip and trip.
  • Hypertension, diabetes, prostate enlargement, stroke, kidney disease, and even a tumor in the bladder can also cause nocturia.

STEP 2. ENGAGE THE ENERGY

Homeopathic remedies for those with nocturia include homeopathic sulphur (Sulphura) and Ferrum phos.

STEP 3. NOURISH AND TONIFY

  • One of my favorite herbal remedies for menopausal women troubled by night sweats and nocturia is nettle infusion. Nettles’ ability to rebuild adrenal and kidney functioning is nothing short of miraculous. I do not experience nettle as a diuretic; while the initial response to drinking 2-4 cups of infusion may be a need to urinate more often, this is due to improvement of the kidneys, not stimulation, and as they strengthen, frequency returns to normal.
  • Quercetin is a strong antioxidant found in herbs and foods. It decreases urinary and pelvic inflammation, and, most importantly, inhibits cell damage in the kidneys. Find quercetin in oak bark, cranberries, AND blueberries.

STEP 4. STIMULATE/SEDATE

Limiting fluid intake to a little water only in the four hours before bed – no coffee, tea, alcohol, juice, or soda – may help.

STEP 5B. USE DRUGS

  • Common drugs, such as blood pressure medications, can increase urinary frequency. Eliminate them; eliminate nocturia.
  • Desmopressin acetate, DDAVP, is a prescription nasal spray that blocks the urge to urinate. Elders may find it helpful in shifting the timing of urination back toward daytime.
  • On an average, men with BPH get up three times a night to urinate, and many have a difficult time returning to sleep. Of drugs tested, only doxazosin made a significant difference.

PARURESIS – SHY BLADDER

STEP 0. DO NOTHING

That’s what most of those with a shy bladder do: nothing. They don’t talk about it. They don’t seek treatment. And in the worst case scenarios, they don’t leave home for fear that someone will be aware of their urination.

STEP 1. COLLECT INFORMATION

  • It is estimated that 20 million Americans, mostly men, deal with shy bladder; for 2 million of them, it is incapacitating.
  • Anxiety can cause the smooth muscles of the urethra to clamp down, making it impossible to produce urine, no matter how much you want to or how much you try. The thought that someone may be watching or listening or even aware of one’s urination, can produce extreme anxiety in the person with a bashful bladder. In the mildest cases, men cannot void in a public urinal with others watching. In worst cases, men cannot void in any public facility and may have difficulty at home unless they are totally alone.
  • Bashful bladder is different from the difficulty in voiding that occurs when a swollen prostate narrows the urethra.

STEP 2. ENGAGE THE ENERGY

[A true tale] As the mind-altering effects of the plant took hold of me, I suddenly became terrified. I thought everyone was not only watching me, but that they could read my mind as well. My guide laughed: “They are only concerned with themselves. You are invisible to them. Set aside your big ego and your big wish to be the center of attention. You are just another human, doing human business. Laugh at your fear; send it away.”

STEP 3. NOURISH AND TONIFY

  • Be kind to your shy bladder with corn silk tea. If you can’t get corn silk, the liquid from canned corn will have a similar effect.
  • Be kind to your nerves with oatstraw infusion. Regular use of 2-4 cups a day will rebuild the nervous system, so you can handle far more stress with less anxiety.

STEP 4. STIMULATE/SEDATE

A bottle of anxiety-relieving motherwort tincture in your pocket may make your bladder less shy. A dose of 1-2 droppersful, taken on your way to the toilet, will have fast results.

STEP 5B. USE DRUGS

More than half the men answering a recent survey said they were unable to produce a urine sample on demand for a drug test, especially if they were under surveillance to prevent contamination or substitution.

Does Sprinting Increase Height?

Does sprinting really increase your height? And if so, how much can you grow taller from sprinting?

What are the different forms of sprinting?

I used to do sprints with many different people and what I have found is that not everyone understands the same thing. From my experience, there are three basic understandings of sprinting:

  1. Running a short distance really fast, but only once.
  2. Running a short distance really fast, taking a longer break of 5 to 10 minutes, and then doing it again.
  3. Doing interval training.

In other words, when I would ask a friend if he wants to go sprinting with me he would assume one of the above three variations. To me personally, sprinting is variation number two. It’s sort of like weight training where you perform highly intensive sets and repeat them over and over again to increase performance.

Important for you to know is that variation number two is also the type of sprinting where you benefit the most for increasing height. If you can perform exercise number two from the list above several times a week, then sprinting really can help you grow taller.

Why does sprinting increase height?

Obviously, don’t just take my word for it when I say sprinting increases your height. Hence, let me give you a short explanation of the science behind all of this. In order for you grow taller after puberty, you need to achieve the following things:

  • Lengthening your limbs, either your legs or your spinal column (preferably both).
  • Stimulating your body to naturally release more growth hormones.

As you might have guessed, sprinting helps you with both of the above listed criteria. When sprinting, you have to push your body off the ground very hard and you also have to pull your knees quite far up in order to keep up with the speed. In other words, you are taking long strides. These long strides are a form of stretching for your legs.

At this point it’s important for you to understand that there is no way to lengthen your actual leg bones after puberty. As an adult, you have solid bones that just cannot be altered unless you undergo surgery. However, between our leg bones, we do have little spaces. By stretching your legs, you can actually make use of these spaces and lengthen your legs a bit.

Finally, all types of intense exercise stimulate your body to release more growth hormones. Sprinting is a classic exercise for this purpose and can measurably increase the amount of growth hormones your pituitary gland releases into the system.

Is there something missing?

As you can see, the sprinting exercise variation number two is really the best sprinting exercise to increase height. Number one almost doesn’t help at all because it is too short. And number three would help a lot with releasing more growth hormones; however, it doesn’t do so well with actually stretching and thus lengthening your legs.

Most importantly though, sprinting is just part of a bigger picture: If you combine regular sprinting as described above with other stretching exercises, you can easily increase your height by 2 to 4 inches within just 2 months.

Dating a Pothead – Marijuana and Relationships

Dating or living with a marijuana addict can be overwhelming. Marijuana addiction can create turmoil in relationships whether they be with family members, friends or spouses. People who smoke pot, tend to hang around with other people who smoke pot. This enables the pot user to not feel guilty about the amount that they are smoking. Problems arise in a relationship when there are different expectations about marijuana use, our different levels of use. If you are sober, hanging out with the person who is a high all the time is not an enjoyable experience.

Marijuana addiction forms gradually and gets worse as time goes by. This is why some people aren’t even aware they have problem. Most potheads are able to function well enough in life to get by, but may not be aware of how weed is holding them back. They may not realize the effect that marijuana has had on life, until they take a significant break and are sober for a period of time.

It is important to remember that marijuana is a psychological addiction and that the person you care about is addicted to the mental state of being high, and compulsively want to be stoned. This is why they get moody, restless, anxious when they are unable to smoke.

There are two situations here. The first situation is where the marijuana addict is aware of their problem and wants to quit, but hasn’t been able to. The positive thing about the first situation is that you are able to openly talk about the issue and provide support toward the common goal of quitting. The second situation is where the marijuana addict does not want to admit that they have a problem or just a belief that they have a problem with weed. They may say that people love we, and there is no way that they want to quit. In this case, the road to recovery is much rockier.

When you decide to talk to the person about their marijuana use, do not accuse them. Rather, you should explained to them have their marijuana use is affecting you and your relationship with them. You should highlight the positive aspects of quitting marijuana rather than the negative effects you believe the drug is having on this persons life. Anyone can learn to stop smoking marijuana. If you have a problem with marijuana, or know someone that does and want to help them, I wish you the best of luck. You can make a difference.
